Youth Faith Formation

“Parents are the first and most important educator of their own children, and they also possess a fundamental competence in this area: they are educators because they are parents.”- St. Pope John Paul II

At St. Joseph/St. Raphael parish, the youth faith formation programs exist to assist parents in forming their children in the Catholic faith.  We offer programs and events for children and youth pre-school through high school ages.

Our CCD program is our prime educational program for children/youth ages 4-years-old through high school seniors who are not enrolled at a Catholic school.  However, any child may attend.  More information can be found on our CCD page.

All high school aged youth are invited to participate in our youth group meetings and activities.  Youth group is separate from our high school CCD program.  Upcoming events and contact information can be found on our youth group page.

Core Team is the planning group for our youth activities.  All high school youth are invited to become a part of the Core Team.  To find out the activities and responsibilities of Core Team members, see the Core Team page.

Young Adult Choir is a traveling choir for youth and young adults ages 7th grade and up.  The choir sings upbeat contemporary songs at various masses on a rotating basis.  For information on joining the Young Adult Choir or to view their schedule, see the Young Adult Choir page.
